hihi! i am back!
the chiangmai trip was fun!
i miss Ban Pha Mon village and everything!
except the insects.

Day 1 (08/06/08)
woke up early to take airplane to BangKok. and from Bangkok to ChiangMai.it was quite tiring. then we sat a truck to go up the village. so fun! although it was abit scary. at the village... there were so many insects! especially mosquitoes. there were also dogs and chickens running around the village. o.0
then we had our dinner. our meals were at the school. so we had to walk a long way from our dorm to the school. it was quite scary. all the slopes and stuff. and, Auntie A cooked tom yam soup! so nice. but i didnt had appeitite to eat.
then we had de-brief and slept.=)

Day 2 (09/06/08)
we had our breakfast at the school. and started building a pond near the school. it was actually just a slope, or maybe just a very uneven land. i was like ohmygod, what are we supposed to do.. then, we started digging and digging and digging until lunch time. ate lunch and continued digging again. haha. really tiring. but we managed to do a good job.=) uhm, then do all the neccessary stuffs, de-brief and slept.

Day 3 (10/06/08)
breakfast at the schoool, and went to dig the pond again. the second day was more tiring than the first day. bcos everyone's muscles all already very aching le. i also went tried helping to dig the pineapples in the kitchen. it was so difficult!. especially the bottom of the pineapple. even worse than digging the soil. haha. then we had pineapple rice for lunch. so delicious! and back to the digging of the pond. and we managed to finish building the pond le! yay! then again, de-brief.. and slept.

Day 4 (11/06/08)
same thing again, breakfast. the others went to do the royal reforestation project at some other place and me,yile, and julia stayed at the kitchen behind the school to help auntie A prepared lunch. do the kitchen work etc.. and time passed really fast. we ate our lunch and some ppl went to teach, some go get bamboo and i helped in the banner thingg. after that i went into one of the classrooms to interact with the kids too. (FYI, there's only 3 classrooms) then, the others went to lay the plastic layer on to the pond while we 3 went to the kitchen to help out again. then, filled the pond with water, released fishes into it, and put the tent. finished the pond! =)
then at night, we had cultural exchange. the villages and kids wore their traditional costumes! so nice. then they performed, ACSI performed and we also peformed. then, play fireworks and lit Kong Ming Lantern. so fun! then, de-brief and slept.

Day 5 (12/06/08)
breakfast, and went down the hill after lunch. on the way, we stopped at a school in chiangmai to donate some items. the school held a welcome ceremony for us, with dance and snacks. i was like staring that the bottle of water that they were going to gv us. i was very thirsty! haha. then walked around the school. at night, everyone went to the night market. shop... bought some things. i dont really know how to bargain. =) then, back to hotel. i went to wenhui's room. wanted to talk and stay up the night. but i was too tired then ended up sleeping in that room. lazy to go back to my hotel room. uhm.. actually i dun dare to. haha. bcos joycelin and felicia also not inside. alone very scary. haha.

Day 6 (13/06/08)
breakfast at the hotel lobby, went shopping. took a flight from Chiangmai to Bangkok. then shop at Bangkok airport again. haha. and came back. =)

i miss the village and the kids there...
this trip was so fun!!!

it is supposed to be celebrated on the first friday of June. (???)

i will not be posting next week. so..

my blog will be dead for the whole of next week..
